After 5 minutes of pure indulgence, I decided that I will kick-start my day by going to the market.
I love the Whampoa Market, which is just a 2-minute drive from my flat. There are so many great foodstalls in the hawker centre adjacent to the market, and I need to get some ingredients for today's lunch.
Lunch was fried rice. I had spent fifteen minutes last night researching for recipes for fried rice so that I can arm myself with some basic knowledge on how to prepare this simple dish that Colin loves so much.

I laid out the ingredients in little bowls so that I would not have to stumble around for them when I start to cook. These are little tricks for amateur chefs like myself.
This is me at work in my humble kitchen, had to force Colin to take this photo of me coz he doesn't understand why I need to take a photo of myself cooking.
Check out the end product. Mmm...I am getting pretty good at this...
